Decent protection during your martial arts class is really important and protecting your groin is no different. This means you can spar in relative comfort and not have to worry about your body and enjoy the session.
Most competitions now require you to be protected and safe so having a good quality groin guard is essential, the higher up you go through the ranks and grades to harder the hits and intensity so the more need for protection.
